Moving from York to Manchester
In January 2009, Planet Vintage Girl moved from the Antique Centre York to Insitu Architectural Salvage. We loved our time in York, but found restocking difficult with the commute. Insitu Architectural Salvage is just off the Deansgate Roundabout on the Chester Road. We will continue to have a presence at the fab Empire House Antique Warehouse in Failsworth, too!

Antiques Trader features Planet Vintage Girl Stock

Leaving Levenshulme Antique Village December, 2007.
Despite a pleased customer base, visually engaging displays, and timely rent cheques the owners of Levenshulme Antique Village apparently found Planet Vintage Girl's stock too controversial. The appearance of a humble 1970's "Space Hopper" set the wheels in motion for the owners to terminate Planet Vintage Girl's license in December 2007. Although we are sad to leave, we can't help but have a giggle as we go. Planet Vintage Girl will continue to offer sophisticated, hard to find vintage design pieces from the 50's, 60's and 70's through its online Store, Insitu Architectural Salvage and Empire House Antiques in Failsworth.
