Items are original, previously owned period furniture and accessories; condition will reflect some signs of use and wear unless otherwise stated. (UK Only: all upholstered furniture are offered as works of art, collectible or for historic interest. The item may not comply with the furniture and furnishings safety regulation (1988), and should not be used in a private dwelling.)
Electrical goods are wired for UK 220 volts, but are not necessarily tested or rewired unless stated. (UK Only Electrical items are sold as "collector's electrical item" and sold with the strict understanding that items are untested, without warranty or any guarantee as to working order. These items might not comply with statutory requirements and are offered for sale solely for display purposes or historical interest. The items are not suitable for connection to mains electricity unless checked and warranted by a qualified electrician.)

Payment
Credit and Debit Card details can be taken over the phone at the shop. Please ring 0161 839 5525. Payment is also available via the website, bank transfer or Paypal in either Pounds Sterling or US dollars.
UK & European Buyers: We accept Paypal (£ & Euros), bankers drafts, standing orders, personal cheques drawn on UK bank accounts, and postal orders in pounds sterling.
US Buyers: We accept Paypal, money orders, and cashier's checks in US dollars.
Rentals & Prop Hire
Prop Hire is available at 20% retail price per week of rental. Cheque for item total is required for deposit, which is returned at end of hire period when item returned in condition it was originally hired.
Shipping
We gladly ship worldwide, please ask for shipping costs to your location (include postal code) before purchase. We use pre-loved boxes and packing supplies as much as possible to reduce our carbon footprint. All items are packed to the highest standard using packing paper, bubble wrap, packing peanuts and strong boxes, to ensure goods are safe during transit. Please remember that the Royal Mail will not accept claims for breakages to China or Glass, unless Special Delivery is used. Russel Wright china and Blenko glass will be shipped Special Delivery. We obtain proof of posting. No responsibility will be accepted for loss unless the appropriate insurance is undertaken, but we will assist in any claim by providing the original proof of posting. Please remember that the Royal Mail does not refund postage, only item value.
Pick Up
If you prefer, you can arrange to pick items up yourself. Items must be collected within 14 days of purchase. Collection date made by prior arrangement.
Delivery
For many items, we can deliver locally within a 15 mile radius of Manchester for £20. If this item is too large to post: delivery can be arranged via courier. Please email for quotes. Many courier companies will deliver furniture for around £80 throughout England & Wales and parts of Scotland.

If you prefer, you can arrange to pick items up yourself. Items must be collected within 14 days of purchase. Collection date made by prior arrangement.
Returns
We do our best to accurately describe each item we sell. Items are original, previously owned period furniture and accessories; condition will reflect some signs of use and wear unless otherwise noted.
Buyer must notify us of a return for authorization within 48 hours of receiving the item and return the item within 7 days, accompanied with photographs of damage or discrepancies claimed.
Returned goods must be delivered in the same condition as sent. All original packaging must be kept by you in order to process claim. Buyer is responsible for all return shipping, packing and insurance charges regardless of the reason for return.
